Republic Bank presents Gift to Kirani James

St. George's, Grenada - September 01, 2012. The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Republic Bank (Grenada) Limited congratulate and salute Kirani James on his historic and momentous achievement, winning Gold - Grenada's first-ever Olympic medal, at the 2012 London Olympics. As a token of recognition of his magnificent accomplishment, the Bank, during the national homecoming celebrations held on September 01, 2012, at the National Stadium, made a presentation of an unconditional gift of EC$100,000.00 to Kirani.

On making the presentation to Kirani, the Bank's Managing Director, Keith A. Johnson, said:

Kirani's monumental success at the just-ended Olympics has fulfilled the dreams of all Grenadians, who would have spotted his talent and potential from a tender age. His triumph has opened many avenues not only for himself, but for other aspiring youth, in Grenada, the Caribbean, and the rest of the world. His discipline, dedication, determination, work ethic, and humility serve to motivate and empower others to strive for excellence and be the best they can.
