Republic Bank Hosts Successful Family Fun Day

× 3

St. George’s, Grenada - May 23, 2016: Staff and families of Republic Bank met for a day of recreation at its bi-annual Family Fun Day held Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Tanteen Playing Field. Family Fun Day brings staff and families together outside of the work environment, in a spirit of friendly rivalry and fair competition.

Still, the fun and excitement was contagious among the three houses – Red Blazers, Pink Panthers and Turquoise Tornados. Track and field, aerobics burnout, a colourful march pass and several fun-filled novelty events formed the day’s activities, providing much fun for both adults and children alike. In the end, Red Blazers dominated and emerged overall champion, while Turquoise Tornadoes “wowed” the crowd with their creative march pass display.

Managing Director, Keith Johnson commented on how wonderful it was, for everyone, especially the children. He remarked: “It is part of the Bank’s culture to not only focus on work and the bottom line, but to also focus on the other aspects of living and life.”

Mc Kie Griffith, Manager – Human Resources Training and Development was also elated with the outcome of the event, noting the hard work put in by the Staff Activities Committee to organize the Fun Day.

Republic Bank remains committed to empowering its staff and the communities through various initiatives and is pleased to recognize it hard-working, dedicated staff in this way. Visit us on www.republicgrenada.com or email: info@republicgrenada.com
