On April 21, 2018, the Kirani James Athletics Stadium will be ablaze with local and international professional athletes as they compete in one of the first major outdoor track-and-field meets for 2018.
Republic Bank is proud to be the Official Bank of this invitational Meet, and look forward to welcoming the thousands of visitors who will grace our shores for the prestigious event. We anticipate that this Athletics Meet will provide vast economic benefits and business opportunities for our country. Additionally, the exposure to an international audience, from the media coverage to be provided by Sports broadcast giant, ESPN will be a great vehicle for promoting the “Pure Grenada” Brand.
At a brief ceremony at Republic House, on January 16th Managing Director, Keith Johnson announced our contribution package totalling EC$40,000 (FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS, And made the presentation to members of the Local Organizing Committee, Mr. Dexter Mitchell and Mr. Michael Bascombe.
