Republic Bank Launches Programme For Women Entrepreneurs

St. George’s, Grenada; August 10, 2021 – Republic Bank has partnered with BPD Associates Limited to launch its first ever Entrepreneurs Business Builder programme. The programme which was launched on August 09th, aims to assist established women entrepreneurs with creating technology-enabled, sustainable and profitable businesses.

The Group-wide initiative will bring together, in one virtual space, 150 women entrepreneurs from around the Caribbean region as the programme will be facilitated in Anguilla, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Saint Maarten, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent & The Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and Suriname.

The mixed-mode programme will run in two phases. Phase 1 allows for self-paced online learning, interactive group sessions with facilitators, and opportunities for community-driven networking. The top 20 women from Phase 1 will move onto phase 2, where participants will receive customized guidance and mentorship to implement plans into the daily operations of their businesses.
